mythoughts

Carve

Carved his heart and soul

To a woman who never loved

Carved flowers for what he saw when he looked at her

She never glanced at them

Carved a beautiful chair to remind her she was thought of

She sat on the floor of her house

Carved a melody to mend her wounds

She couldn’t hear for she was deaf

Carved a bird out of dry grass with some lavender

She wouldn’t see the beauty of his craft

Carved his life for her to see what a lovely woman she was

She indeed was a sight to behold

But

Broken and shattered from a love once had

Carve
